2005 Debbie and I flew to LasVegas, where we rented a car and drove to Flagstaff
Arizona. Just after getting on I-40 we were passed by a car from Rutherford County,
Tennessee. We were really amazed with the colors at the Canyon. Some people spend
a lifetime studying and getting to know the Grand Canyon, we only had a couple
of days. On day one we drove and walked west along the south rim. A couple of
days later we visited the east end of the north rim and drove to the painted desert.
Our five days in Arizona accounted for another 1200 miles on our rental car. |
